New update released!

More than nine years after the last update, Sunlight Games has released a new update for “Gold Rush! Anniversary”.
The update fixes small issues and was released on Steam for PC. Soon it will be released for owner of the box version as well as for iOS and Android.

More than nine years after the last update, Sunlight Games has announced a new update for “Gold Rush! Anniversary”. The update fixes small issues. It will first be soon released for PC on Steam and later also for iOS and Android. The update will also be released for all users who own the box version.
The exact improvements will be announced with the release.
In addition, another update is in development that will add new features to the game.

Gold Rush! for classic Amiga camputers

Sunlight Games will soon launch the retro label "RetroTainment", under which old and new games for systems from the 1980s and 1990s will be released in classic boxes. It starts with the Special Edition of Gold Rush! for classic Amiga computers.
The Special Edition will be released at the Amiga34 in Neuss (Germany) and can also be pre-ordered in the RetroTainment shop.

Sunlight Games has released the iOS 11-update for Gold Rush! Anniversary. With this update the adventure runs without problems on the new iOS 11-version. The minimum firmware versions is 7.

Sunlight Games has released some outtakes of the development of Gold Rush! Anniversary. They seemed to be lost but were found again and are released now.
Gold Rush! Anniversary was released about three years ago and was the remake of the classic game from the 1980s of Sierra.

The box version of Gold Rush! 2 will be released today in the retail in Germany. All orders in the Sunlight Games online shop will still be added with a making-of as well as three postcards of the game - while stocks last. The game in the box is DRM-free for PC.

Gold Rush! 2, the sequel to Gold Rush! Anniversary, was now released for Android (Amazon and Google Play). The versions for PC, Mac, Linux and iOS was already released.

A box version with more content will be released for PC as a Collector’s Edition and can be pre-ordered at the online shop of Sunlight Games.

The versions for Mac and Linux and the optimized versions for iOS and Android will be released soon after the PC-version was released. The box-version for PC is scheduled for June 23rd. It can be exclusively pre-ordered at the Sunlight Games online shop. All pre-orders will be shipped much earlier than the retail release!

Gold Rush! 2 Steam-page and trailer released!

Sunlight Games has announced that the Steam-page for the upcoming Gold Rush! 2, the sequel to Gold Rush! Anniversary, and the trailer was released today. The PC-version will be released on April 28th on Steam.

The versions for the other platforms will be released soon after the PC-version. The box-version for PC is scheduled for June 23rd. It can be exclusively pre-ordered at the Sunlight Games online shop. All pre-orders will be shipped much more earlier than the retail-release!

Gold Rush! 2 will be released in spring 2017

Today Sunlight Games has announced that Gold Rush! 2, sequel to Gold Rush! Anniversary, will be released in spring 2017. The delay is due to the fact that the realization of other projects and the expanding of the story took longer than expected. As a small crumb of comfort Sunlight Games has published two new screenshots. What’s more, everyone who pre-orders in the Sunlight Games Store will receive a limited set of postcards signed with the game developers’ autographs.

Companion App for Gold Rush! released!

Today Sunlight Games releases a companion app for iOS, which contains information on all three Gold Rush! versions.
The app offers details, screenshots and additional features: for example a complete walkthrough, a making-of and the music of Gold Rush! Anniversary and some of the concept drawings for Gold Rush! Classic. The iOS version of the application is available on iTunes as of now.

Sunlight Games has published two more screenshots of Gold Rush 2!, the sequel of Gold Rush! Anniversary. All screenshots are still on a work-in-progress-status.

Gold rush! 2 announced - more exciting than its predecessor

Good news for all gold searchers and adventure fans: the gold rush continues! The story of the sequel of Gold Rush! Anniverday came from the pen of the developers of the original game.
The successor of the Sierra Classic Gold Rush! by Sunlight Games will be released in March 2016 for PC, Mac, and Linux, and later also for mobile devices.

Gold Rush! figures available!

Sunlight Games GmbH publishes three figures of the main character “Jerrod” known from Gold Rush! which can be ordered online from now on. Two figures are available from the original of the Sierra Adventure of the 80s and one of the remake Gold Rush! Anniversary. The figures can directly be ordered via Shapeways. It’s about 3 D prints. In another shop of Shapeways there are available further figures of older adventures. Orders on Shapeways can be combined without any problems.

The price for the box-version of Gold Rush! Anniversary has been dropped

Sunlight Games announces that the PC-Box-Version of Gold Rush! Anniversary, the HD-remake of the Sierra-classic of 1988, has been reduced in price. The box version of Gold Rush! Anniversary is from now on available for 19,99€ on the market and can also be purchased in the Sunlight Games Shop.

On top of this Sunlight Games has announced the reduction in price for the box version of the Gold Rush! Anniversary Special Edition which is 29,99€ now. This collector’s edition is available in the online shop of Sunlight Games.

Sunlight Games has released Gold Rush! Anniversary, the remake of the adventure classic in 1988, for Android tablets. The game is available in the Amazon App Store and in Google Play.

Since today the new update to the version 1.1 for Gold Rush! Anniversary is available on Steam (PC, Mac and Linux) and for the DVD version too.
You find the patch for the DVD version at the (see Downloads).
On Steam the patch should automatically be downloaded and installed when you start Steam the next time.

Gold Rush! Anniversary boxes ready for shipping!

Sunlight Games has announced that the box version of Gold Rush! Anniversary for PC is ready for shipping. There is a German and an English box available. Both versions contains the game on DVD as DRM-free, the manual and the DVD-case in a paperboard box with a flap.

Adventure fans can order all versions plus the limited special edition in the online shop of Sunlight Games at http://shop.sunlight-games.com.

Sunlight Games released also the intro of the game on the YouTube-Channel.

Sunlight Games released Gold Rush! Anniversary today as download

Today, Sunlight Games will release Gold Rush! Anniversary, a remake of Sierra’s adventure from 1988, on Steam. More digital platforms will follow over the next few days. The new version is 29.99 €. Additionally, Sunlight Games offers an upgrade to a digital Special Edition as DLC for 4.99 €. The retail box will be available mid-November, as scheduled.

Gold Rush! Anniversary release is delayed for one week!

Today Sunlight Games announced that the release of its digital version of Gold Rush! Anniversary is delayed for one week to November 7th, 2014.

Sunlight Games wants to use the time to make the game perfect. "We want to offer our players an even greater gaming experience and this can only be done by improving some minor but important details" Marco Sowa, CEO of Sunlight Games, explains.

Sunlight Games with news about Gold Rush! Anniversary

Sunlight Games has announced more news and new screenshots to Gold Rush! Anniversary, the remake of the classic adventure from 1988, coming in fall for PC.

Gold Rush! Anniversary will be optimized, compared to the original, even further in terms of playability and graphics: the dead ends and random deaths were optimized as well as the graphics, which come along with new textures, more details and the environments now also get real time shadows.
In addition, two new screenshots from the game were published, that will offer fans an additional taste of the new edition of the classic game.

Sunlight Games released Gold Rush! Classic soon for PC

The independent game developer Sunlight Games will re-release Gold Rush! Classic for PC. The re-release will be online at 25. July. There will be also a box-version in the Sunlight webshop at 29. August. Fans will get not only the old Adventure, but also the original map, the original manual and unpublished original concept drawings of the developer from the 80s.

The independent game developer Sunlight Games has published more new screenshots for his remake of the Sierra classic Gold Rush!.
